Summer Hours & 2026-2027 School Year Information

Hajek Elementary summer hours will begin on Tuesday, May 26. The campus is closed on Fridays and will be closed from June 2 to July 13.

All BISD offices and campuses will be closed July 6-10. 

Doors Open to the Public:

Monday - Thursday (Closed Fridays)

7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Closed 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.)

Summer Meals  
Beginning May 26, BISD Child Nutrition will serve free meals to everyone 18 and under. Meals will be available for dine-in at Taylor Elementary: 
May 26-June 26
Monday - Friday
Breakfast: 7:15 a.m.-8:15 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Technology Operations
Technology Help Desk services will be available for staff and students during the following summer periods:
Tuesday - Thursday, May 26 - July 2, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  
Monday - Thursday, July 13 - July 30,  8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Grades 1-12 Enrollment and Registration
Enrollment for 2026-2027 students in all grade levels will begin on June 8, 2026.

Online annual registration for returning students will begin in late July.
